“Bruiser” joins us from our second litter. Originally, we had planned to place “Bruiser” once he had Granded. However, Bruiser had other ideas and decided that he was not to leave us—ever! As a result we have a great alter who loves cuddling and all people. Bruiser loves going to cat shows as much as he loves assisting in raising the kittens. When the kittens join the full house, he takes them under his wing and shows them the “ropes”.

In 2013 and 2014, Bruiser attended the Spring NBF show. In 2013, he entered as a Premier and came home with the title of Best Birman Premier. In 2014, as a Grand Premier, he went back to Texas to defend the title that Ferris had won in 2013. Being the serious campaign cat that he is, Bruiser delivered and left the 2014 NBF show as the Best Birman in Premiership!

Having done well in CFA, Bruiser also went out to try showing in both ACFA and TICA. In TICA, he became a Quad Grand Champion Alter, Regional Winner, and Best Birman in the Great Lakes Region. In ACFA, he also became a Quad Grand Champion and an Inter-American Winning Alter as well as Best Birman Alter. Having had a banner show career, Bruiser is looking forward to raising more kittens and possibly becoming licensed as a therapy cat. He loves children and is very patient with the elderly and their equipment. So, we know he’ll be the perfect therapy cat!
